The IPA is a private higher education institution, polytechnic nature, the various courses of study that minister, offers an experience of hands-on learning, interdisciplinary and collaborative in the arts, technology and innovation. The IPA was born in 1990 under the name Polytechnic Institute Autonomous, the result of a meeting of higher education set of teachers who, to date, identified as a vector of national development, the need for greater and more diverse range of higher education. The organization of the institution while polytechnic school reflects, from the genesis, its philosophy of "know-how", offering training with a strong practical component and in line with the changing needs of national business.
