2003 - March 21, Government Decision on the foundation of Moldova Institute of International Relations (IRIM) as a state institution in the field of international relations. 2008 - February 15, Cooperation Agreement between Moldova Institute of International Relations and Moscow Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) is signed. Under this collaboration agreement there were organized a number of common scientific conferences and trainning courses for the teaching staff from IRIM. 2010 - January 27, Cooperation Agreement between Moldova State Institute of International Relations and Hanns Seidel Foundation (Germany) was signed. Under its auspices three international conferences and a summer school involving teachers and students from Moldova, Germany, Romania, Russia and Ukraine were organized.
