Institute of Aeronautical Engineering (IARE), Hyderabad was established in 2000, by devoted group of eminent professionals and industrialists, having a long and outstanding experience in educational system with a mission ‘Education for Liberation’. It is the First institute to start with Aeronautical Engineering with an intake of 60 and gradually transformed itself into a premier integrated interdisciplinary technological institute. Since its inception, it has transformed itself into a truly integrated interdisciplinary technological institute spread in an area of three lakh square feet, accommodating well ventilated classrooms, state-of-the art labs, well maintained outdoor & indoor sports and games facilities. IARE is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technology University (JNTUH), Hyderabad is an ISO 9001-2008 certified. The departments of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Information Technology (IT), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), Aeronautical Engineering (AE) and Mechanical Engineering (ME) are accredited by the National Board of accreditation (NBA), New Delhi since 2008. The Faculty is nationality and internationally recognised for its portfolio of first-class education and research opportunities. Hence IARE recruits only distinguished academicians, research scientists and experienced faculty who have been carefully chosen through a search from a pool of IITs, NITs, Universities and research organizations. The mix of high quality Facilities, industry appropriate training, National Board of accreditation (NBA) and highly innovative approach to learning and teaching with technology is aimed at developing our students to be able to meet the challenges of the modern working environment. Our computing and engineering laboratories and workshops are equipped to commercial and industrial standards and these facilities are available both in and out of class time for students to use. Research centers use latest software like AutoCAD, CATIA, Pro/E, CFD, ANSYS, MATLAB, PSCAD/EMCAD, Cadence VHDL, IBM Rational Rose, Informatica, J2ME and so on. Students not only benefit from excellent teaching and research facilities, but from strong links with industry, commerce and universities worldwide. Collaborative ventures with companies such as Infosys, Airbus, Cyient, Tech Mahindra, NTT Data and IBM not only help us remain at the forefront of technological advances, but ensure we keep pace with employers’ changing expectations. The college campus is adjacent to Nehru outer ring road (ORR) close to Dundigal junction exit, making it accessible to several important centers in and around the city. The Campus is situated 20 Km away from Secunderabad railway station and 11 Km from JNTUH University, Kukatpally, in a lush green and pollution free environment. Having been established for fourteen years, is now all set to form itself into a deemed university with world class facilities.
