Information Technology can be used in any number of innovative ways to develop unique solutions to the problems faced by Pakistan today. ITU was thus formed to enable Pakistani youth to develop such solutions, and also to cater to the acute shortage of trained manpower faced by Pakistan’s IT industry. Modelled along the lines of the world’s leading technology universities, ITU has a project-oriented and design-centered approach to education. The university aims to foster a new generation of IT engineers and entrepreneurs who will help transform the economic and technical landscape of Pakistan
