The IIPT was established under Mahila Jagrati Sansthan, a registered Society with an objective of setting up technical educational institutions like Engineering colleges, polytechnic colleges and research institute for the advancement and propagation of education and research. The “Mahila Jagrati Sansthan is a principal organization of The IIPT which is behind the curtains of every branch of this education house. The “Mahila Jagrati Sansthan visualized setting up state-of-art center of college on at the forefront in Rajasthan. Within a short period of four years, the society has significantly excelled in academics and has earned leading good name in field of technical education specially in polytechnic education. The Governing body of trust comprises professionals with outstanding achievements. The Institution is approved by AICTE & affiliated to BTER-Board Of Technical Education & DTE-Directorate of Technical Education, Jodhpur (Govt. of Rajasthan). Thrust on academic quality and job oriented qualitative teaching-learning process has established IIPT as the most preferred institute.
