Hostel
Two hostels, one each for boys and girls separately, provide accommodation to 475+300 boys and 502 girls. Vishwavidyalaya faculty member as Warden supervises each hostel.
Students studying in the UTD seeking hostel accommodation will be required to apply in the prescribed application form.
The criteria for allotment of hostel accommodation by the Vishwavidyalaya is as under:
First priority is given to those who were admitted during previous academic session and yet to complete the course.
Second priority is given to those admitted to a full time program and coming from outside Bilaspur.
In view of the limited hostel facilities available, the candidates may please note that the grant of admission to a course of a study in the UTD would not automatically entitle one for allotment of hostel accommodation and that the application of the students for Hostel allotment will be considered if seats in the hostel are available.

Cafeteria
University has a cafeteria on the campus, near the administrative building. The canteen provides snacks, tea, coffee, cold drinks, etc. during office hours. It operates from 09 a.m. to 06 p.m. on all working days. Canteen committee appointed by the University monitors the quality, rates & standard.

Auditorium
One big Auditorium with a seating capacity of about 800 audiences is a venue for organizing various activities of University. It has been constructed near administrative block.
The auditorium has a beautiful spacious hall with seating provision in the ground floor and balcony. University has conducted its convocations and several other cultural and academic events in this hall.
The other big halls adjoining auditorium are used for state of the art science laboratories for honors and engineering students.

Library
The Central Library was established on 26th Oct. 1984 as a part of the University to meet the academic needs and requirements of the students, teachers and research scholars. It is housed in a spacious building, having seating capacity of more than 500 at a time. Its collection comprises 1, 42,408 books, Indian and foreign scholarly journals and 1433 Ph.D. theses. Library uses SOUL 2.0 software for automation and to access the e-resources, free Internet and Wi-Fi facilities have been made available to the users. Library provides RFID based services as well as reprography to users along with Current Awareness (CA) and SDI services.
