Pichhore is a sub division of District Shivpuri. It is situted westward in between the Jhanshi – Lalitpur Highway and the Jhanshi – Shivpuri Highway . It is 33 km. far from sirsod on the Shivpuri – Jhanshi Four line Highway and 37 km from badora on Jhanshi – Lalitpur Highway. It is Also linked with Train route from Basai railway station situated 30 km far on Jhanshi – Bhopal railway station. It was founded in July 1963 as private institute. At this time U.G Classes in art Faculty where conducted. It was taken over by the Govt. of M.P. on 7 feb. 1971. The College got the facilities of U.G classes in science and commerce after. It was under taken by Government. In the second face this College started to post graduate classes in Sociology and economics. It was in the third face in 1997 that with the greate affords and help of the local M.L.A. honourable Mr. k.p singh (Kakkaju), eight class at post graduate level in arts, science and commerce faculties were started . This college has permanent affiliation with Jiwaji University, Gwalior, M.P and has co- education system.
