With a population of nearly 2,000 students, Fontbonne is small — and mighty. Founded in 1923 and still sponsored today by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet, Fontbonne embraces the mission and values of its founders, opening its doors and hearts to all and encouraging open communication and personal concern. The university is located in Clayton, Mo., a suburb in the heart of the St. Louis metropolitan area, and you can often find students, faculty and staff out in the community, “serving a world in need.” Graduates leave prepared with the knowledge they need to make a living — and live a meaningful life.
