On 1 January 1986 , he created the Directorate of Higher Institutes Army to coordinate the Military School of the Nation , the Army War College and the Technical University , leading members of the higher education system of the Force. Through Resolution Ministry of Education and Justice No. 2024 October 29, 1990 the goal of transforming the Address into a particular Institute are called Higher Education Army Institute under Article 16 of Law 17,778 . The Rector of the Institute then took on the task of coordinating three academic units of vast experience, each with a strong corporate culture, a tradition and a distinct role within the Army.
