Duvvuru Ramanamma Women’s College (DRW) is a service organization sponsored by Rotary Club of Gudur started with the noble cause to serve the Women community especially from rural and backward sector. The College was started during the year 1981 with B.A., and B. Com., courses with 56 students and 6 staff members. Following Swami Vivekananda’s saying “Arise, Awake and stop not till the goal is reached” the management has not stopped its efforts until it has academic growth of the Institution, the infrastructure facilities are being improved year after year. The college has been producing excellent results. A number of financial aids are made available to the Students. The Placement Cell helps and guide the students for employment opportunities. The Welfare Committee, Alumni Association & parents Association extend financial support to the poor students. The college sensitized the students to the latest managerial concepts like team work, collective decision making and decentralization in academic matters. The college inculcates civic sense among the students by executing a number of socially relevant, community oriented programmes.
