Hanoi Open University was established under Decision 535 dated 03.11.1993 / TTg of the Prime Minister: Hanoi Open University is a public university system operating in the national universities by the Ministry of Education and Training directly manage. Hanoi Open University was implementing educational programs and training: Program fostering knowledge for many different areas, many different objects to meet the needs of many learners wishing to improve their knowledge updated. since 1993, the Institute has organized many training courses and retraining of staff economic management, enterprise management for many companies, provinces and cities. In collaboration with the Institute of Educational Sciences of Vietnam Television and broadcasting implement educational programs literacy, knowledge such as: Farmers need to know (Extension), universal Computing Program Programme to protect and promote traditional craft villages, aesthetic education program about art, architecture, biotechnology program, English refresher program, training programs undergraduate and colleges in the construction sector under the framework program of the Ministry of Education and Training and the Ministry of Education and Training for approval.
