DCSMAT School of Media and Business was established in September 2005 in the sprawling 75 acre KINFRA Film and Video Park, Trivandrum. Promoted by DC Kizhakemuri Foundation, the School offers AICTE approved 2 year full-time Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) courses which is recognized to be equivalent as an MBA degree. Set up with well-appointed classrooms, accommodation facilities, open air theatre, conference hall and guest house, the School strives for creative excellence in management through holistic development of students. The School also has an FM Radio Station (approved by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India), TV Studio, Animation and Sound Recording facilities and access to all the facilities at KINFRA Park. The learning and teaching methods used here are varied with the objective of providing high quality management education and enhancing the capabilities of the students. The campus provides the right environment for creating managers, who can take initiative, think innovatively and deal any state of affairs with efficiency. There are two other management schools under the DCSMAT wing: DCSMAT Business School DC School of Management and Technology The DCSMAT Business School is located in Vagamon, Idukki and offers AICTE approved PGDM programme which is exclusively designed to prepare the students with all the essential skills required in a manager. DC School of Management and Technology is located adjacent to the Business school and offers two year residential MBA programme approved by the AICTE. The School is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University and offers six broad areas for specialization and various add-on courses.
