SHRI SIDDHI VINAYAK EDUCATIONAL SOCIETY came into existence during the year 2002 to cater the technical needs of this western chhattisgarh state. The youth of this region had to look forward either to Durg/Bhilai or Raipur to quench their technical thirst due to the fact that all Engineering Colleges were getting clustered over there. SHRI SIDDHI VINAYAK EDUCATIONAL SOCIETY realized that they have a challenge in there hands and they shall be falling in their duity if they don't fitful the long awaited needs of this region which is to be brought into the form of Technical Institute. This thought encourages the young energetic members of SHRI SIDDHI VINAYAK EDUCATIONAL SOCIETY to establish an Engineering College under the name "CIT" RAJNANDGAON. In this manner the hurricane dream got converted into a reality on May-2004 when AICTE gave approval for functioning of college in the permanent structutre and CIT was brought into existence under the affiliation with Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur and for 2005 batch Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University, Bhilai. In this manner the up hill task of transformation agro based society of SANSKARDHANI the original Rajnandgaon was put to action so that the store house of physical labor and the agro based traditional families could have a better future for this next generation, kith & kin.
