Since 1991, declaration of independence, Moldova has embarked on the arduous road of the political, economic and social. In the market economy, which were imposed as an objective law of history, and after the breakup of the Soviet Union, our country was founded as a state starting practically from a new beginning. In this situation, the development of the national economy become important condition for strengthening statehood and security of the country. On 25 September 1991 under Resolution no. 537 of the Government of Moldova, was founded Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova. Thus materialize the aspiration of several generations of science and economic education that they wanted an independent higher education institution. It became possible to integrate the economic higher education with scientific research and the vertical integration of different levels of education - undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate.From the outset, the goal of our institution axase not only proper training, specialized students, but also educating a new mentality in the spirit of freedom of thought and action, pragmatism and efficiency of life.
