The Aarhus School of Architecture is an independent institution under the Danish Ministry of Higher Education and Science.Our aim is to educate architects who can develop the physical environment of the future by engaging with society.We offer teaching at Bachelor, Master and PhD level within architecture and areas related to the architectural profession. We also offer a range of continuing education and specialised courses aimed at qualified architects, designers, etc.
The school is internationally oriented and has good connections with the world’s best architectural communities. Our cooperation includes exchange programmes, traineeships, visiting professorships, lectures and joint studios. The Aarhus School of Architecture (Arkitektskolen Aarhus) was founded in 1965 in Århus, Denmark. Along with the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture in Copenhagen, it is responsible for the education of architects in Denmark. The school has approximately 750 students
