Admissions now- du 2017 admissions up close until now.

Being one of India’s sought after universities, Delhi University began its admission process from 22nd May and announced its first cut-off list on Friday, 23rd June with most colleges seeing a marginal drop and going with the 97 per cent slab, as set by the Shri Ram College of Commerce the same morning.

This has come as a sigh of relief to many students who would be applying this year.

These cutoffs have come as a result of the fact that many boards that had declared results before CBSE had done away with the moderation policy.

These lower cutoffs also giving a realistic image of the candidate pool that the University is expecting.

As per sources, DU has received almost 30,000 fewer applications compared to a 2000 seat increase due to the introduction of new courses.

Like the registration process, selection of courses and colleges would be done online and verification of documents will be done at the respective colleges after selection.

All applicants need to carry their class X and class XII mark sheets along with admission form, certificates, character certificate and two self-attested photographs.

Other documents that are required by certain candidates are caste certificates, transfer certificates (if the student is from outside Delhi) and migration certificate.

If the cutoff is met and the college approves, it shall keep the original documents to avoid multiple admissions and shall update your status on the admissions portal. Once your application is approved and updated, head to your UG admission portal to pay the fees online by prescribed methods and before the mentioned deadline.

AdmissionX wishes all students applying to University of Delhi luck and prosperity.
