27th June 2017 marks the beginning of the Delhi University Sports trials.
The University grants a maximum of 5% seats under ECA and Sports quotas and all colleges have the autonomy to decide the number of seats it is going to offer under each.
Almost 13,000 students have applied for admission under the Sports Quota.
The candidates can apply for sports quota from the portal directly by selecting “YES” for “Applying for sports quota” and then select the sport under the applied category.
Admission under sports quota can be done in two ways- either by giving the sports trial or directly. (Students who have represented India in Olympics, World Cup, Commonwealth or Asian Games are eligible for direct admission.)
