Born of the desire for a better academic experience, the Pilot University of Colombia gives its students a multidisciplinary environment and highly connected to the professional field covering humanities, research, business practices nationwide and abroad, and more. Those driven by youthful enthusiasm students and university inconsistency of the 60s, with a successful and futuristic vision, absolute confidence in their own worth, and supported by an unshakable faith on the success that was to bring the passing of the years, they then set out to found a university. In late August 1962 the students were grouped, coordinated by an organizing committee, formed teams and settled temporarily in the theater of the National Park.
