The Inter-American Open University , founded in 1995, develops an academic project, which shows the commitment to education on a path of continuous effort to provide answers to the social, cultural and political demands that the times require. The IAU is a private, secular, autonomous, plural and non-profit university.
he IAU, founded in 1995, has accreditations of nongovernmental National and International organizations of education among them: ADEEPRA (Association of Private Educational Institutions Argentinas), FAEPLA (Federation of Educational Associations of Latin America and the Caribbean), COMEP (World Confederation of Private Education) and ends the cycle of an educative project that includes from the maternal education to the university education and graduate. Currently the University has 22,000 students and only in the Systems area, with 1,900 registered students, in four of its Sedes.
