SBS College of Pharmacy has come a long way since its inception in 1986 and is a non-government Post Graduate (M. Pharm), Graduate / Degree (B. Pharm) and Diploma (D. Pharm) level technology and Pharmaceutical Research Institute. It is administered by Shaheed Bhagat Singh Educational Society. SBS College of Pharmacy, Patti was established as a diploma level professional institute in 1986 for undertaking diploma courses. Further it established its degree level programme in Pharmacy in 2001. Adding another landmark to it, the institution introduced Master in Pharmacy (M. Pharm) courses in Pharmacognosy and Phytochemistry in the Year 2007 and Master in Pharmacy (M. Pharm) in Pharmaceutics in the year 2009. Now institute has become a research based organization and looking forward to introduce higher level of some more pharmacy related course. The college is approved by AICTE, PSBTE& IT, PCI, New Delhi, government of Punjab and affiliated to PTU, Jalandhar.
