"This University has its main Campus at Khairpur, with one Campus in Shikarpur. A proposal to establish two more campuses, one each in Ghotki and Kandhkot is under consideration. Since its establishment, Shah Abdul Latif University has consistently provided top quality education and training to students. The University has, therefore played a pivotal role in the development of Upper Sindh. The University currently comprises six faculties and twenty eight departments. My vision is to ensure that our University will shine above the rest in the country. My priorities are to ensure the welfare of our students, to improve academic quality, and to ensure the welfare of faculty members and administrative staff. I am pleased to tell you that the Higher Education Commission (HEC) has recently ranked Shah Abdul Latif University as 5th best general university of Pakistan in medium category.
