Hostel
Future relations are strengthened by the bonding developed today. Students coming from different parts of the country feel at home in the hostel. Centrally air-cooled residential area with separate residential facilities is in place for boys and girls. Amenities like laundry, An entertainment room with TV, hot water facilities, cosy beds, study tables, recreational facilities like indoor games, newspapers, magazines and so on are all in place. Wardens are the local guardians who act as guides, and give moral support to the residents. At this institute, safety and security of the students in the premises is given utmost importance. Hostel facility is very ideal in life for pursuing our academic goals. Special facilities:- Located in the college premises. Wi-Fi Enabled Campus. The electricity and water supply is constant around the clock. Electricity failure, if any, is managed with generator. Hot water supply through electrical geezers. Safe drinking water through Aqua guards and water coolers. Very spacious dining room and well equipped with modern kitchen facility to serve all the meals as per menu decided by mess contractor. Each hostel room has adequate space, light and fresh ventilation. Vegetarian taste - Sunday feast & additional feast on festival days Rooms come with attached bed, table, chair and cupboards. 24 hours security is provided by professional agencies. Students are provided a paid laundry collection service. Students have access to indoor sports,and gym facility. Round the clock library upto 12:00 pm at night Gym facility is also available. Separate T.V. & Internet facilities for students.

Transport
Safety of our students is our prime concern. Thus, our transport facility is fully equipped to provide the safest & the most convenient transport solution. The college provides excellent transportation facilities with a fleet of buses for students and staff. Transportation focuses on accessibility rather than the mobility thus provides a wide range of solutions. The students have to commute from different cities for which the College is providing deluxe buses to cover the entire routes of Panipat, Delhi, Karnal and all adjoining areas. Apart from providing transportation facility to students and staff, the College also provides this facility for industrial visits and excursion trips. KEY FEATURES OF TRANSPORTATION Transport facility is allotted on annual basis for students admitted for regular programme for the duration of regular academic session. All rights of permission to avail the transport facility are reserved with the Institute and can be denied to any student. No student shall be entitled to claim this facility as a matter of right. Transport facility will be allotted on First Come First Serve basis. Routes and pick up points are indicative and are subject to change from time to time. Transport facility will be provided till the end of the regular academic session including regular exams. It is generally not provided after end of academic session for any purpose like summer school/reappear examination/ make up examination etc. The time table of the student may change in between or after every semester also, but the timing of the Transport will be same as specified above. No application for refund for transport facility will be entertained after last date of admission on these grounds. Transport fee as mentioned is for the academic session 2015-2016 and it is subject to change for successive sessions. Transportation Rules For Students Using of college transport is not compulsory and only those students who agree to abide by the transport rules of the college are advised to use the college transport. The students who want to use the college transport should give a request in writing along with a photo to the college at the beginning of the academic year. The boarding/dropping point should be given clearly in the requisition form. The transport fee should be paid in the beginning of the year and the fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. The transport charges will be notified every year and is subject to change depending on the Increase In the cost of fuel and other operating costs. The students should not change the boarding /dropping point, or routes without proper permission and such request will not be entertained during the middle of the semester. The students traveling in the college bus should occupy the seats allotted to them and should not create any disturbance to other students and staff. Strict discipline should be maintained inside the college bus. All the students/parents are expected to be aware of the transport rules of the college and Ignorance of the same will not be an excuse for any dispute/claim. In case of any dispute, the decision of the Management will be final and binding on the students. The college can change, alter, amend any of the above rules at any point of time and it will be binding on the students.

Gymnasium
Machines There are many fitness machines available in a good fitness center. Most of them work one specific body part, but can be adjusted to work that same part from different angles and can be adjusted to use heavier or lighter resistance. Many gyms strategically set up their equipment to move through each station as efficiently as possible. Most machines will have an exercise guide attached that will explain how to perform the exercise and will also detail which body part is worked. Goals Set realistic achievable goals. Do you want to lose excess weight or do you want to build large, well-defined muscles? Do you want increase your overall endurance or increase your overall strength? Once you have made a decision about what you would like to accomplish, design a program that will help you achieve your goals and will be interesting enough to keep you engaged in the process.

The library is well stocked with text and general books along with the magazines and research journals, Regular newspapers both regional and national are specifically subscribed to cater the need of all the readers various facilities like e-library, e-journals and subscription with various international agencies like DELNET & J-GATE. Library is the heart, mind and soul of an educational institution and a fountain-head of innovativeness, inspiration and insight both for the students and the faculty. Learning and library are to each other as the light to the lamp. Library is located in the separate area in the college building with air conditioned facility. It has been systematically and steadily strengthened. The library operation and services are fully computerized with "Redox EIMS System" multi user Integrated Library Automation Software developed by Redox Technologies, New-Delhi and a Bar-Code based circulation system is in use. The library is equipped with more than 18000 books from different streams. Besides these text and reference books the Library is also subscribing to a large number of national and international journals, magazines and Encyclopedia. Bibliographic records of Library holdings can be accessed through the Redox on Line Public Access Catalogue (OPAC).The Library also maintains a good collection of important educational CDs/DVDs on Engineering & Technology. Library is also an institutional member of Developing Library Network (DELNET) & NISCAIR, New Delhi. Besides providing on line access to various DELNET databases, DELNET is also providing a very good DELNET Loan and Document Delivery Services to our faculty & students. Labs
Operating with large numbers of desktops, world class server technologies and a wi-fi campus to ensure mobile computing at all locations. Internet bandwidth of 8 mbps helps support our systems. We firmly believe that the overall development and knowledge enhancement for an engineer is possible only after adequate exposure to information technology. In alignment with this ideology self sufficient Computer with IBM & hp servers, desktops, HP Hi-end Laser jet printers and relevant software have been set up that completely fulfils all the requirements of the students and faculty. Internet facility with high speed RF link has been made available for education and academic purposes. All computers are in LAN (Local Area Network) and are served by a powerful server. SGI has availed MSDN from Microsoft: under which almost all Microsoft products will be available to SGI students. Students have the choice of Windows (XP, Vista, Windows 7 etc.) or Linux Operating System at SGI. Computer Centre facilitates the students to become independent learners and self - starters. We encourage use of multimedia to learn inter-actively and work on class projects. They use the Internet to explore, engage in projects, and communicate with no barriers. The computer lab has been set up under the guidance of expert professionals, so as to provide best technology and facilities to the students. All students are highly benefitted by gathering information, organizing and presenting the same in meaningful manner.

Sports Facilities
Sports lounge has various indoor and outdoor games facilities like Table-Tennis, Carrom, Chess, Basket Ball, Volley Ball, Cricket and other board games. Institute has excellent sports facilities for all outdoor and indoor games and adequate emphasis is given on all round growth and development of students. Institute has well maintained football, hockey, cricket grounds and 400 meters athletic track. Two Volley ball courts, a Basketball court, a Lawn Tennis Court and Badminton court are available for students. A multi-gym exercise has been provided to the students. Indoor sports equipments viz. table tennis, chess etc. are also part of the sports facilities. Various achievements in sports include:- Two times winner in inter-college Badminton tournament. Workshops
The laboratories and mechanical workshops being the core facility have most modern equipments and machinery conforming to highest standards. The institute has state of the art physics, chemistry, electronics and communication, electrical technology labs and mechanical workshops. The laboratories have been planned with absolute care to ensure safety while working. All the required machines and equipments in the labs/mechanical workshops are as per prescribed norms and standards. Each lab/workshop is spacieous enough for the students to work comfortably. Institute has extensive Workshops and Laboratory facilities in every department with all required equipment and systems to enable the students to conduct practicals properly.
