The Leibniz Institute for Psychology Information (German: Leibniz-Zentrum für Psychologische Information und Dokumentation/ZPID) is the documentation and information center for psychology in the German-speaking countries.
"The Leibniz Institute for Psychology Information (Leibniz-Zentrum für Psychologische Information und Dokumentation, ZPID) began its work in 1972 under the director Prof. Dr. Reinert, with the financial support of the Max Planck Society.

ZPID ran as a project at the University of Trier until 1987. After a positive evaluation by the German Science and Humanities Council (Wissenschaftsrat) in 1985, it was granted the status of a Central Scientific Institute at the University of Trier."
