Community College of Philadelphia is an open-admission institution in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States that grants Associate degrees, academic certificates, and proficiency certificates. The College opened on September 23, 1965, in the Snellenberg's Building at 34 South 11th Street. The Mint Building on the Main Campus, which opened for classes in 1973, served as the Third Philadelphia Mint from 1901–1969. The College has made great strides throughout its history in helping citizens achieve their educational and career goals.
